Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before enrolling in any Gotong Group course or using this website. By enrolling or using the site, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these terms.

Definitions
- "Agreement" โ these Terms and Conditions as updated from time to time.
- "Company", "we", "us", "our" โ Gotong Group, 29 Boat Quay, #02-05, Singapore 049817.
- "Courses" โ the financial education programmes offered through our website.
- "User", "you", "your" โ any individual who accesses the website or enrols in a Course.
- "Content" โ all text, worksheets, templates, audio recordings, and other materials we make available through the Courses.
- "Platform" โ the website and any associated learning management system through which Courses are delivered.

Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website or enrolling in a Course, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age.
- You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
- You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement.
If you do not agree, please do not use the website or enrol in our Courses.

Nature of the Service
Gotong Group provides financial education courses for adults approaching or considering retirement. Our Courses are educational in nature only and do not constitute financial advice, investment advice, legal advice, or any form of regulated financial service under the Financial Advisers Act or Securities and Futures Act of Singapore.
Our Courses are designed to help you organise your thinking and ask better questions of qualified professionals. Where personal financial or legal decisions are concerned, we consistently direct participants to MAS-licensed financial advisers, qualified lawyers, and other appropriate professionals.
Course availability is subject to sufficient enrolment and operational considerations. We reserve the right to reschedule, modify, or cancel a Course, in which case enrolled participants will receive reasonable notice and a full refund or transfer option.

Enrolment and Account
- Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of full payment.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of any account credentials provided to access Course materials.
- Course access is personal and non-transferable โ credentials may not be shared with other individuals.
- We reserve the right to suspend access if there is evidence of account sharing or misuse.
- You will receive access to Course materials within 2 business days of confirmed payment.

User Responsibilities
When using our Platform or participating in our Courses, you agree to:
- Use the Platform and Content for personal educational purposes only.
- Treat other course participants and our staff with respect in any community or discussion forums.
- Not reproduce, distribute, or make Course materials available to third parties without our written consent.
- Not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract data or content from the Platform.
- Provide accurate information when enrolling or contacting us.

Intellectual Property
All Course Content โ including worksheets, templates, written materials, and the structure and sequence of each Course โ is owned by Gotong Group and is protected by copyright.
Upon enrolment and payment, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Content for your own private, non-commercial educational purposes during the access period.
You may not copy, distribute, resell, or create derivative works from our Content without express written permission.

Payment and Fees
- Course fees are quoted and charged in Singapore Dollars (SGD), inclusive of any applicable GST.
- Payment is due in full at the time of enrolment.
- We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfer where available.
- Receipts will be issued by email after successful payment.
Refund Policy
- Requests for a full refund made within 7 calendar days of enrolment โ and before accessing more than the first module โ will be honoured.
- Requests made after 7 days or after accessing further modules will not be eligible for a refund, except where we have cancelled or materially altered the Course.
- If we cancel a Course, enrolled participants will receive a full refund within 14 business days.

Course Access and Completion
- Course materials are made available on an ongoing basis; access does not expire provided your account remains in good standing.
- Completion of a Course is self-directed โ there are no mandatory assessments or attendance requirements.
- Where we issue a certificate of completion, this reflects participation in an educational programme and does not constitute a professional qualification or licence.
- We may update Course content from time to time to keep it current; enrolled participants will continue to receive access to updated materials.

Disclaimers
Our Courses and Content are provided "as is" for educational purposes. We do not warrant that:
- The Content will be error-free or complete at all times.
- The Platform will be available without interruption.
- Applying information from our Courses will produce any particular financial outcome.
Nothing in our Courses should be taken as a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, or otherwise deal in any investment, insurance product, or CPF arrangement. All such decisions should be made with appropriate professional guidance.

Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, Gotong Group will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of or reliance on our Courses or Platform, including any financial decisions made based on course content.
Our total liability for any direct loss arising from a breach of this Agreement shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant Course.

Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform if you breach any part of this Agreement, particularly regarding misuse of Content or account sharing. In such cases, no refund will be due.
You may cease using the Platform at any time. Termination does not affect accrued rights or obligations on either side.

Governing Law and Disputes
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising from or connected with this Agreement shall first be referred to informal resolution โ please write to [email protected] with a description of the concern and your proposed resolution.
If informal resolution does not succeed within 30 days, the dispute may be referred to mediation at the Singapore Mediation Centre before being escalated to the courts of Singapore.

General Provisions
- Entire Agreement โ this Agreement, together with our Privacy Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between you and Gotong Group regarding the use of our Platform and Courses.
- Severability โ if any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
- No Waiver โ failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that right.
- Notices โ formal notices should be sent to [email protected] or by post to our registered address.

Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email (if you have an account with us) and by updating the "Last Updated" date above, at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
