A Quiet Moment
to Take Stock
For adults in their forties, fifties, and early sixties who feel ready to look carefully at what they have built — and to think, without haste, about what the years ahead might ask of it.
Three Courses
A Gentle Arc Across Three Stages
Each course is self-contained, though they are designed to follow one another naturally — from looking back, through careful review, to preparing for what comes next.

Reviewing Plans Without Tearing Them Up
An eight-week study covering CPF nominations, insurance, wills, investment allocations, and the practical years between 55 and CPF LIFE payouts — with a careful hand.

- Weekly calm reflection prompts
Preparing Gently for the First Years of Retirement
A ten-week reading course for those within a few years of stepping back: withdrawal planning, MediShield considerations, health routines, and the quiet work of a shifting identity.

Why Gotong Group
Learning That Respects Your Pace
Adults arriving at mid-life with decades of financial experience do not need lectures. They need a well-lit space to think — structured enough to move forward, open enough to honour what they already know.
See All BenefitsNon-evaluative tone
The course materials are designed to describe, not to judge. The point is to see clearly, not to grade a lifetime of decisions.
Self-paced weekly readings
No live sessions to attend. Each module arrives at a measured weekly pace — readable in an evening, worth revisiting over a weekend.
Singapore-specific context
CPF rules, MediShield, SRS, HDB considerations — the content is written for the Singapore financial landscape, not adapted from elsewhere.
Directs to licensed advisers
The courses prepare you to have better conversations with MAS-licensed advisers and qualified lawyers — not to replace that advice.

Common Questions
Things Worth Asking Before You Begin
Who are these courses for?
The courses are written for adults between 45 and 65 who are resident in Singapore and who feel ready to take a considered look at their financial position. They are not designed for those in financial difficulty or for those seeking active investment strategies.
Do I need financial expertise to follow the material?
The courses assume no professional background. They are written in plain English with care taken to explain every term used. A working life in Singapore is generally sufficient preparation for the content.
How much time should I set aside each week?
Most participants read each week's material over an evening, roughly two to three hours, and then revisit the worksheets at a quieter moment over the following days. There are no deadlines and no tests.
Is this financial advice?
No. The courses are financial education, not advice. They do not recommend specific products, funds, or strategies for your personal situation. Where personal decisions arise, the materials direct you to MAS-licensed advisers and qualified lawyers.
What is the cost and how do I pay?
Course One is SGD 259, Course Two SGD 499, and Course Three SGD 829. Payment details and a brief enrolment form are sent after your initial enquiry. We accept PayNow, bank transfer, and major credit cards.
Can I take the courses out of order?
Each course is self-contained and may be taken independently. That said, participants who begin with Course One tend to find Course Two more useful, since the review process is naturally easier when you have a clear picture of your current position.
Is there any support if I have questions while studying?
Participants may write to us with questions about the course material. We respond during office hours, typically within two working days. We do not provide personal financial guidance outside the course framework.
